Berlingo 1.91D starting problems
Messages 1 to 10 of 10.
I have an 02 Berligo multispace that has 45000 miles on the clock. It has recently been having trouble starting first thing , taking a couple of minutes at least to fire up.Once it has started there is no problem re - starting until the next day.I have been told it is probably the glow plugs that need changing.Could anybody out there confirm if this is the correce diagnosis of my starting problems ?

Check the glow plug light stays on for about 5+ seconds so they are heating properly.
Any suggestions will be welcomed Thanks Steve

It is a diy job that wont take much time. You could aways check the plugs before removal with an ampmetre. They should all give off about 1.5 or there abouts. Remove the cables linking the plugs and then put one rod on the end of the plug then the other on any other metal surface to get reading.

On mine I can access the plugs with an extended socket without too much difficulty. Unsure why you have parts too remove. Regards
