Hi, A relative of mine has a static caravan based in Argeles-sur Mer (Near Perpignan), but unfortunately the site where it has been happily residing for 15 years is closing down:-(
Does anyone know if there are campsites in the south where they would accept a mobile home? and advice on transporting mobile homes in France (who, how much etc..)?
or if not, then
Does anyone want to buy a mobile home ? ;-)

have just tried to move a mobile home from Equinoxe at Argeles Sur Mer but was unable to get the van off the site. I had arranged for D&A Transport, an English company based in France, to do the transport to Mamers. Although their vehicle was on site for 2 days with all associated costs they did not charge me the full amount agreed and were totally professional. I have since used them to transport a replacement van from Boulogne to Mamers and can strongly recommend them. Their French telephone number is 0240 287302

We are looking for a small, second hand, mobile caravan to live in whilst we renovate our house in Poitou-Charente. Will relocate van if necessary. Need this van by February/March 2005.Swifty

in Charente For Sale
37 feet long, 12 feet wide.good condition , three bedrooms,1 double, 2 twin, plus sofa bed in lounge, two bathrooms, good sized lounge, dining area, seperate kitchen. we have been using this while we renovated our property, fantastic temporary accomodation, can arrange transport anywhere in [Log in to view email]

Moving van may be easier than looking for a site that will take you. Suggest you ask on site if anyone knows of a site that will accept a private ownwr with what is to them a second-hand van
