It's a pig of a job but possible without removing the pedal box. Connect the cable to the pedal before locating and connecting to the clutch. Grease the cable end and pass through the bulkhead, using a tool or similar raise the clutch pedal to it's highest point and connect the cable, then connect to the transmission housing and clutch. Good luck.

Sorry I can't help you. I have only changed a broken cable. To release the cable from the pedal you need to prise down the plastic clip with a screwdriver and connection is just a push fit.
