Ford 6006 RDS e-o-n code needed

Iv searched hi and low to get a code and just come across this site if anybody could please help me. I was doing some work to my car and had to disconnect the battery without realising when i re-connected it and got in my car to find it was asking for the code i never had.....doh Iv heard you will need the serial key so it is - M031996 many thanks
