Hi moya,
Welcom to the forum, try ringing Mike at No1gear on 01460 670000 or if you look on ebay there are a few vans beeing broken for spates, if you contact one of them they may have what you want.

Hi Moya, and welcome!
I doubt that you'll get a new cable, but try Fiat, Peugeot and Citroen dealers - the Talbot Express is the same as the Ducato, J5 and C25 respectively. You might get a second-hand one from Mike Chubb at http://www.no1gear.com and you might get an air filter box from him, too. A better idea for the air filter though is to get a K&N cone filter instead; you will get better performance. Troll through the 'carb spacer' thread on here for more information.

Thanks Mr B and Mr D for your replies. I will try Mike at No1 Gear - and have checked out Ebay - there is a van listed for spares in Reading so will see if i can win that one! Could be perfect!Thanks for the advise. Great to know this forum exists!

Hi Tomo,
I have just snapped my passenger side wing mirror on my Talbot Express Campervan by catching it on a tree !! It is the one with two slim arms joining it to the van with rubber gaitors covering the arms, do you happen to have a spare one that I could buy ? Hope you can help Marc

hi all, we are new to this and just purchased a 1987 fiat ducato motor home. i have fitted a gearbox mount and awaiting the engine mount (toomeys in basildon £189 the pair, ouch) i have still got a wander when changeing gear. any help please

Hi sjg,I have a van conversion so dont have any contacts for coach builts but you could try...
caravanbreakers.net (I've been there a few times and its just as the owner says "an aladdins cave" of old spares for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, or
There is a guy who breaks talbots on ebay "theonlygameintown1". He usually breaks the van conversions but could be worth dropping an e-mail to see if he has any coach built parts... other than that all I can think of is to try No1gear or delfins... All the best...

Hi, I don't know if you can help but i've just bought a 1985 Talbot express high top, not sure which one as the V5 says it's a panel van, 1st question is this normal? also i could do with many cosmetic or small items such as replacement door handles, swival front seats/mechanism, rear step and tow bar, may also need internal items such as replacement Fridge mine doesn't seem top work. I live near Derby i don't suppose your anywhere near that i could visit for any of these parts or check internal amenities are working, a picture of my van is on a forum i started called "body type" cheers

Hi Helen theres a company not a millon miles away from you that are called autocraft motorcaravans Fan road staveley chesterfield s43 3pt Tele 01246471100 they sell ever possable part for the motorhome part of your van not the mechanical side .they do send out a ctataloge for a£1 . the picture of your van looks like a autohomes conversion. hope that helps ps pratical motorhome magazine as lots adds in the back for part suppliers cheers briroe

Radiator hoses (New, not from breakers) wanted. 2 litre Petrol 1988.
Hi there,
any one know where these can be sourced from ? Peugeot Dealers just laugh when the age of the van is mentioned. I'd like silicone ones,(some hope !) so I don't have to worry about them any more.
there is another thread with others looking for these as well,perhaps we could all get together and get a batch made ?? Regards Ray

Hi, I've just bought a 1985 model, I've just bought no of mechanical parts from Motormania, no issue, they are in most towns, you could locate a store on the web. hope they can help. cheers

Peugeot Dealers are very helpful were i have been and mine is a 1985 camalot mark 1 if they do not have it they give me the part number so can try in other places. and things have been fine so far

a breaker in southend has the bits you want in good condition and he is cheep. he is breaking a g reg fiat ducato

Don't know what happened but you seem to have lost page 8. I asked you what your location was so that I can pay cash on collection for the head light and you can look at our camper for the replacement bumper end cap. Can you please let us know?
