Hi all,
Can any one tell me when the timing belt on my 1.2 fiesta ghia will need changing its got 34.000 on the clock at the moment.

hi, some people say every 5 years or 50,000, and other's say 10 years and 100,000 if you have just recently bought it, and you want peace of mind do it now, if to your knowledge it's never been done before change it,
its cheaper to spend £150 now, than £500+ for an engine rebuild later when the belt goes bang

Ok, thanks tommy, i've just bought it and theres no mention of it being done so maybe it would be as well to get it sorted...
