Worcester 19/24 cbi - no hot water ch works fine

I've got a: Sealed pressurised system, worceter 19/24cbi boiler, 2 motorised valves one for water one for ch, back up immersion on the boiler. My central heating works fine, but when i switch on the hot water the boiler does not fire up, i've checked on the control box pcb and the programmer is sending a signal so i'm thinking thats ok, but boiler does not fire. I have a back up immersion heater in the tank that works fine, does anyone know what this could be? theres a motorised valve on the hot water inlet - not sure if this is working but if it doesnt would this stop the boiler firing? If its the cylinder stat does this use the same stat as the immersion - it looks like the stat wire comes from the immersion box on the cylinder. does anyone have any thoughts?

most you see a little lever at the side if you move it it will open valve to hot water or if in the midle it will do both hope this helps
