Hi,,I have an escort 55 van 2001,with the 1.8 endura de engine,non turbo,its developed a slight leak around the fourth injector,iv tried changing the return pipe,,but it seems to be coming from the washer at the bottom,does any one have any tips on taking it out and replacing the washer,,?? Thanks in advance,,

You mean the washer at the bottom of the injector?

I did the injectors on my old 88 escort, just needed to buy a socket to fit the injector.

i can't remember if the injectors on this model are similar, I never needed to change them on my Endura version.

I remember the socket was expensive though.
