Hi, i have a large shed 20x10 that two teenagers share but we are getting alot of condenstion on the ceiling what sort of ventilation do i need ? we dont have alot of cash too spare

hi, the first thing that sprung to mind is a kitchen/bathroom extractor fan of some sort, no idea how much they are but a quick online search at B&Q, wicks or focus and then check on EBay
you could also try a dehumidifier, they are great at taking the dampness away, and you dont need them going 12/24 hrs aday

Hi Lou

Are your teenagers living in the shed or are they just using it as their space !!!!. The easiest way is to just drill some holes around the top and bottom of the shed but this will cause drafts which the kids will block up or just leave a window open while they are in there. If you are heating the shed and using one of the portable gas type heaters then you need to have it ventillated. you can buy simple vents at any DIY store for about £5 each that you can fit very easilly (instructions on the box) but they need to be left open to stop the condensation.
