If anyone is looking for a great place to go while in Singapore, then we found a gem. Bintan is classed as Indonesia, but its only an hours ferry ride from Singers and its a beautiful tropical island, we stayed at the Nirwana resort and it was amazing and not too expensive. So if you have to pass time in Singapore and are stuck for things to do apart from shopping, then Bintan is highly recommended. If you only have a day or two then stop at the Shangri la rasa on Sentosa Island........ Its the best place ever if you have kids, there is soooo much for them to do and a fab kids club.!!!
