HI,CAN ANYBODY HELP? I HAVE A DEJON 14 BOAT AND THE HULL HAS SOME WATER IN IT,BUT I DON'T SEE A DRAIN PLUG ANYWHERE.DOES ANYBODY HAVE A DIAGRAM OF THE INSIDE OF THE HULL SO I CAN SEE IF IT HAS DIFFERENT COMPARTMENTS.I CAN HEAR WATER INSIDE IT BUT CANNOT UNDERSTAND IF IT IS AT THE FRONT OR THE REAR.ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.THANK YOU VERY MUCH,REGARDS DANNY.

hy your problem ,,,,it is water that is put in bouancy tanks to act as ballast to sit your dijohn in the water there are 2 tanks at stern and bow tanks there should be rubber bungs in all tanks to seal them ,,,check this out derek

HI DEREK IF I UNDERSTOOD CORRECTLY THERE ARE 2 SEALED TANKS IN THE HULL WITH WATER IN THEM.SO I HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.I THOUGHT THAT IT HAD A LEAK AND IT WAS REPAIRED WITH THE WATER TRAPPED INSIDE AS I SAW NO DRAIN PLUGS EXEPT FOR THE ONE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSAM.DO YOU HAVE ANY DIAGRAMS OF THE INSIDE OF THE HULL OR KNOW SOMEONE THAT HAS AS I AM INTERESTED TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE .I THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONCE AND FOR YOUR TIME ,KIND REGARDS DANNY.

hy danny the tanks at the back two seats at stern sould have 2ruber bungs in them about 1inchwide if there are none water could be sealed in hull this is double skined so is hollow and could hold water derek ps the bungs are near t o top of seats

HI DEREK NO BUNGS AT REAR DO YOU THINK THERE IS WATER TRAPPED IN THE HULL I HOPE NOT IF SO HOW COULD I GET IT OUT. REGARDS DANNY

hy yes its possible had this once on boat iff it has been holled at some time ,,, you can find lowest part ,i think its on keel on rjohn as this should be hollow drii hole on keel let it drain then make sure its dry fill with glass fibre putty job done thats drill hole wont leak derek

the sealed tanks should only be full of air or the optional foam that was offered as new, i had one from new. if there is water in the tanks you have a leak

HI THANX FOR YOUR EMAIL .DO YOU HAVE ANY PICS OF THE CONFIGURATION OF THE HULL AS I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THE WATER IS BUT I CAN HEAR IT .IF YOU COULD ASSIST ME IN THIS I WOULD BE MOST GREATFUL.THANX ,KIND REGARDS DANNY.

the only place water can be is in any of the sealed areas i.e the seating and bouyancy tanks both in the cabin and stern area. i can only suggest you drill small drain holes low down in each sealed section, and reseal after wards with resin and mat. the only other place water could be is in the keel though i doubt if it could be much. otherwise unless someone has double skined her apart from the tanks there is nowhere else water can be trapped, hope this helps.
