Hi, Where abouts are you? There used to be a lovely shop close to where we lived in the New Forest that had a brilliant collection of Dolls House Items.

Don't think it is a fading hobby, there are lots of us out here!!!!! I have bought items from the Dolls House Emporium, if you are in Derbyshire they actually have a shop there - google them to find the address, can't remember where it is! But they often have sale items in the shop which are a lot cheaper than their mail order catalogue. My sons bought me my dolls house for Christmas a few years ago as they were sick of me moaning that because I had sons instead of daughters I had never had a dolls house!!!! I now have a little granddaughter and she has only just discovered Grandma's dolls house and she loves it, even though she is not even two years old yet!

I love doing it though most enjoyable hobbie that I have done.Good luck with yours. If ever you get the chance you should go to visit a village called EARLS BARTON its near Junction15 on M1 between Nth Hampton and Wellingboro. I used to use the Earls Barton shop too, I still have my dolls house and a cake shop/cafe and a wedding box but I've now moved on to reborning dolls. If you want to see pics of my collection they are on my website

Hi Therese, WOW what beautiful babies congratulations they are beautiful
you are very clever, I used to make china dolls went to classes with a lady called Ann Price you might have heard of her she had a shop in garston for a while did the doll fairs with her beautiful dolls ,but sadly she gave up the shop and the classes, those of us that went to them still meet once a month for our doll club and a couple of the ladies have gone into reborns like yourself. I myself have never tried it think I'd have to go to lessons and they are expensive , as I'm now retired I don't have the funds. I still collect all sorts of dolls and have a dolly retreat in my garden I must take some photo's for you to see. I just love your prams how did you come by so many ?I keep looking at car boots for one as they are too expensive on eBay. I'm enjoying getting my dolls house together at the moment. Its lovely to know there are other ladies out there with the same interests, Nice chatting to you regards Jeannette
