Hi there, most people tend to holiday in Spain or Greece to try and get some sun. Why not try Brazil where the sun shines 300 days of the year and is hot all year, Im writing this now from a beautifull place called Joao Pessoa on the north east cost of brazil, I have been here since Feb, and wont be back in the U.K. till June (lovely) I have come here to look at property to buy as it is so cheap as well as the cost of living. If you have a house in britten worth say 100,000 then if you sold it and came here you could get a property for about 150.000reals and still have 150.000+reals in the bank as the pound is worth 3+times here. Lucky you and good luck with the house hunting!We were in Rio in August 2005, as part of a trip to Brazil, Argentina and Chile. It was pretty whistle stop as we only had 16 days, but we enjoyed what we saw. We enjoyed the personalised service of driver and guide for airport arrival and departure in each country, and the tours that we had booked. Linda
