have ford fiesta finesse 1999 just bought it and it keeps stalling booked in garage tuesday just wondered if anyone knows anything in case garage tries to do me

Could be the Idle Control Valve. If they replace it the part is about £30 (patten part) and its a 10min job, but they may still charge an hours labour.

is it a auto or manual. but as suggested above, good advice. check for air leaks too. may just need idle speed adjusted.

Does it stall when moving off from a junction and doing a right or left turn? If so it could be the power steering robbing you of some power just as you need it. A slightly heavier right foot should cure it.
