hi all i have citroen synergie 1.9 td we bought it with broken engine and only 1 key no remotes or anything,my partner changed engine put all its own parts on engine and new clutch,it started and ran fine but had no glow plug light or able to read mileage, he took steering column and dash apart to to put new bulbs in
he tried to start car with key but it was not near the coil on ignition ,car will start but is making terrible noise now any one any ideas to help please
he seems to think it is something on immobileser side because ignition was away from the coil
please help

if the engine starts i cant see it being anything to do with immobilizer.

what type of noise does it make?
