hi all, when i put my air con on all works well but it seems noisey?

Is it a hissing noise from behind the dash ? if so then it may be getting a bit low on gas.

thanx for the reply but no it sounds a bit like a noisey motor, it goes when i put the control to eco

Ok.. well that's starting to point in the direction of the aircon compressor.
My 406 had a quite a noisy compressor but it still worked so I put up with it.
All that the "eco" or economy button does is disable the compressor but leaves the rest of the functions as normal.
