fiesta stalls every time i stop have turned idle up but still doing it also power steering very heavy although topped up and it locks when car stalls any help appreciated

Their is insufficent power to run the pump thats why steering dies.
are these pump or eletric power steering ? if its eletric you may need a new battery or alternator even both if alternator is faulty and battery is also week this could cause car to stall.

rub down battery points with emery cloth and fiesta not stalling anymore thank you all for the help you have given me

good get some silicon grease to put on connections

hi bas saph when you say silicon what do i ask for in the shop somone said use vaseline but would rather use proper stuff and do i just spray on or do i have to undo connections again cheers

hi it normally comes in a tube. not sure on the make of vasaline. Because its silicon based it acts as a conducter and blocks moisture also unlike normal grease it does not freeze. you can remove terminal conectors but is not nesassary. plus safe messing with radio
