can anyone tell me how to program stations onto radio

hi debs, im assuming that you have one of the rds 4000 to 6000 range in escorts and mondeo's up to 2001 ish, its simple once your radio is turned on, have the sound on low, but loud enough so you can hear it, select the am/fm button and then push the search button it will search at a fast speed and will stop at any strong signal, if you dont want that station press search button again, if you want to keep the found station press the button where you want this station 1-2-3-4-5 or 6 the sound will go off when you push the button, keep your finger on the button until the sound returns after 1 or 2 seconds, that station is now in the memory, if you need to fine tune because it wont find certain stations, press the manual button, then when you push the search button, it will stop the search as soon as you take your finger off, hope that helps you, it's hard to explain, lol
