good morning to all.
just joined your forum which i find quite informative.
i wonder if anyone could help me with a slight problem i have with the warm air heater in my 1996 abi award sunstar.
no heat when i use the electric option.the fan is ok and the heater works using the gas fire.
i have reset the unit several times but nothing.
a fellow caravanner suggested that the themal cutout switch may need replacing and i was wondering if this is a diy job or a service centre job.
any info would be appreciated.
cheers .

HI Baz
Cant help you but Ive the same problem
My Carver 4000 fanmaster will not heat up on mains. It just suddenly stopped working the last time I used the van.
the fan switches in ok.the relays can be heard switching but theres no heat.I've checked the fuse.I havent had the heater out of its fitting to check if the plug is still connected.I suppose thats the only other thing I can think of.The gas heaters still working fine

Let me know if you get it sorted before I do
Thanks
Barry T

You can get a new thermal cut out reset switch, I think Gary of Ark systems has some, try asking your question in his dedicated post called "all carver cascade p4 heater questions here & he will reply to you there, he doesnt like to reply outside of his thread.
