no idea, give it a go, if it doesn't work someone else might have a suggestion, i only asked on that website because one day i might need to do it,
i dont know which way it learns, the key from the car, or the car from the key, or they talk to each other,

a 2000 fiesta should,nt have an all red key they finished using those in 1997 after that they came with 2 keys - black with a red square and using both together was the master key lose one of the original and you can,t do it yourself the only way to get it programmed is to go to locksmith which does transponder key programming cost between £20 - 40

providing your car is pre 1997 turn ig on and the red pats light will either come on for 3 secs or flash twice then put your new key in and it will flash twice then wait 10 secs and try
