ford puma engine fault system isolated
Messages 1 to 2 of 2.
I have a ford puma and have recently brought a code fault reader which i plugged in to my puma only to find it said that the MIL status was off then i checked on turning the ignition on i found that there is no icon for the MIL (which i never thought about checking when i brought the car). so my question is as a previous owner or maybe the garage i brought it from has turned off the fault system i dread to think why is there an easy way to turn it back on again ie disconecting the battery for a period of time or is it a ford garage job to have it turned back on. Many thanks in advance

If the light is not comming on. could be the bulb is not working, wiring or an ecu prob. if its running ok. best to leave it. its up to you really, how old is your puma?
