hi me again, no clutch now,cant get into gear, brake warning light on dash but cant get into gear,no fluid loss in servomaster/cylinder, steering fluid was low but nothing to do with no engagement, any ideas cant see no leaking accept under the car engine little drops passenger side.been standing 2 years.thanks dully.

yeah its me again too, can you not get into gear at all, whether the engine is running or not, as the car hasn't been used for a long time it may have seized, stuck together, but i havent heard of this for a very long timetommy

to be honest the cars worth about £600 when its on the road with mot. sounds like its gonna cost that to get it on road. 2 years standing on tyres their knackered need replaceing mot really you should strip most of the car down and replace so much. Id sell it £200 and get shot put £400 to that and by a runner/driver

hidon't scrap it ! its 10 years old ! as you said before you got a MOT on it , wizz it round your local car dealers and get your £2K for it off a new car ! Al

no tommy its been running fine for past 2 weeks since mot, but the red warning light came on the round type symbol with inverted c on each side of the circle, if u know wot i mean, its the brake warning light about a week ago but i thought it must be the break master cylinder leaking. but no its the clutch thats not going into gear,pedal is straight 2 the floor nothing there at all, so its the hydraulics on the clutch, but the cylinders topped up still, no leaks top end, but under the gearbox there some drips of break fluid looks like it .brakes are still good, any ideas, every things topped up and no leaks that i can see.dully

so does that mean its got a slave cylinder at the clutch end, sounds like the seal has gone in that,tommy

no ur haven a laugh might be 600 quid in your book but not mine its done 37,000 one owner very clean. just things that need addressing i dont give up that easy but by todays prices its costing me and i dont like paying up too much as im in the body trade myself.not only that! it owes me.dully
