i have a mondeo ghia 55 (petrol) and it has recently been a bit unpredictable to start, most of the time it starts first time other times it starts then cuts out, other times i have to turn iginition off and turn the key again, today it wont start at all. it has power as it is trying to start but the engine isnt starting, it has juddered a few times aswell when trying to start... its oil levels are fine... can anyone narrow down what it can be please ?

what is the service history? when did you last check the plugs etc?

do these have a crank sensor. classic simpton.
