hi...

my electrics are going mental. My radio doesn't turn on. When I turn my rear wiper on all that happens is the clock turns off. Similarly intermittent wipers just means the clock flashes. Either way, the clock keeps resetting itself. And the internal light won't go on. The glass in my LH mirror has fallen out and won't go back in - but that's probably not related! :)

Any suggestions?

Check to see if the wires fom the roof into the tailgate are all ok & not broken & shorting out. The radio & clock need a perminant feed from the battery & it sounds like this is being shorted to earth. The mirror has a clip on the back that you need to pull across before refitting & then putting back to lock it. Sometimes they go back in with a bit of a slap but you risk breaking the glass.

The electrics are proving tough to trace, but still working on it. The glass, I think the clips are very worn which is proving problematic
