thin dog help?

hi all, i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why my so isnt gaining weight? he is the dog in the pic and he doesnt look too bad there but when he stands up you can almost see his ribs! he eats eats 2 large meals a day and any leftover meat we have from our dinner plus treats, when i have been out walking him people have made comments about how thin he looks and im sure they think i dont feed him but he eats really well! he hasnt lost weight as he always been like this but its just that peoples comments make me wonder if he's normal? any advice? x

get his thyroid checked. This can speed up the metabolism and they can't gain weight. Can be treated with medication

hi x i no u asked about ur dog a few days ago now, do u still need advice as iv had loads of dogs and problems over the years, if u still need some advice let me no x

hi, no thanks, i sent some pics of my dog to the forum to see if anyone else thought he was on the thin side as a few people seemed to make comments when was out walking him but they all think he looks fine... i think it was me been paranoid lol, thanks anyway.
