hmm interesting ! I'm going over there late Aug, staying South of Tampa so only going up to Disney for a day, do you know best way of getting just a one day pass ? Al
we go to florida twice a year, we love it that much we have now bought 2 houses out there, 7 bedroom we rent out and the 4 bed we stay in while there. never buy tickets from the street , you see many signs saying we buy unused tickets and sell cheap tickets !!!! people have bought these and got to the gate (they do not work) When you go in the parks now you have to give a finger print to match you with your ticket, if it does not match it will not work. They have just arrested gangs who sell these type of tickets over there. just be very careful it could spoil your holiday !!!

just got back from Florida brill mid 90's every day and high 80's at night. Yes be ware there are lots of ticket scams going on, saw lots being turned away at gates when finger print didnt work right, but they do however try you on two machines first, as the readers do sometimes play up, my daughters ticket worked two days then when we hoped park to Epcot on the third day it didnt like it on first machine but went OK on the one next to it, and was fine when we went back to MK later in the night too. Petrol is now $2.54 ave a US gal (3.8 ltrs) which is about 42p a litre at current exchange rate. I do know of the AAA but didnt see that it would have benifited me on this trip, but will bare it in mind for future trips. As for Rotonda, not sure, think the Gulf Coast is nicer to the North of Tampa rather than south, so will probably stay nearer Spring Hill / Brooksville next time. One last thing, wife didn't see the " no see ums" but they sure found her, bitten all up her legs ! ouch !!, they obviously didnt like me. Al
