i have serviced it but the garage forgot to reset it.

not about on your Citroen, but most other PSA cars it is done like this.

put key in ign, press and hold the trip reset button, turn ign key to 1st position, indicator should count down . releast the trip button turn off ign.

Now turn on ign and the millage to next service should display.
