my sons abs light has come on on his 02 mondeo i have changed all 4 wheel sensors and when i turn the ignition on the light goes out but after a couple of min it comes back on again all the sensors are all working ok as i have taken them of a 03 mondeo that had no problems has anyone got any ideas the brakes work spot on no problems only the light on the dash board thanks

are all the tyre circumfrences basically the same with correct tyre pressures.

yes all the tyres are the same size and pressure are ok it drives spot on had it on a brake tester like you have on a mot and it shows no problems just the light comes back on after a couple of min when you start the car

must be one of the rings then rather than a sensor or worse an ecu fault. Im thinking rather than the rings them self

when you say rings what do you mean are they part of the front hub is the any way i can check them thanks for your help eddie

To be honest I have only heard about them but beleive they are part of the hubs as its these the sensors pick up from. sorry I cant be more help do a quick google search and your probably get a picture up ect.

as i have said i have changed the 4 sensors still the same it does not have relucter rings on the cv joint i have been told they are part of the wheel bearing the is no play in any of the bearings and all turn without any noise have tried my code reader on it and a friend but it will not read abs any one got a clue of how 2 find out what wheel it might be as it is doing my head in any one with any ideas thank bigted
