Brake failure on 19996 Fiesta

I think something is missing off the brake pedal but cannot see anything except the spring clip. Any ideas welcomed. Peter

when you say you spent hours fittiing the racket, did you remove/bend/break anything, apart from the part that you were replacing, my other thought is you may have a leaking rear wheel brake cylinder, look under the rear of your car at the inside of your rear brakes, it shoud be dry, also check all your flexi brake pipes, front and rear, while your doing this look at the brake pipes under the car, everything should be dry, then check the servo unit under the bonnet for leaks, tommy
