our 306 developed a noise from what appeared to be the near side of the engine, it was a 'vibration' type sound that occured when you took your foot off the accelerator, it did get worse over a few week period and did develop a 'squeal' when changing gear. everyone i spoke to and articles i read said it was the clutch bearing. i had a new clutch fitted, inc bearing, but the noise is still apparent but not as bad and no squeal now.Does anyone know of any other possible causes ?
