renault clio clicking noise

hi guys hoping someone has had same probs, so they can help my stepsons clio 52 plate 1.2 has a strange electrical problem, when you start car audible clicking like relay starts on passenger side under glove box, when clicking noise apparent wipers and windows wont operate however after a few minutes clicking stops and electrics work ok havent had a good look yet was trying to get some ideas first the clicking appears to come from a big black control unit ,any ideas would be helpful cheers

Battery is knakkered.
Hope by now ya got sorted out.

When you turn the key it clicks but stars or not. If it starts and you hear a clicking from the fuse box then it may be i fuse or relay has come lose check them first. If you turn over and don't start it could be battery or starter motor. Alan
