fiesta noisy tyres

Bought my feista 1.2 x reg 37.000mls about 4 months ago so still not quite conversant with its cracks and bumps... i find what seems to be the tyres are very noisy on certain road surfaces. Is the fiesta known for this or will a new set of tyres cure the problem. I noticed my nearside tyre tread pattern is different to the other three, could this have a bearing on the problem? the wheel bearings seem ok, (no rumbling when spun while jacked up) any suggestions would be very welcome.
