Ive recently noticed my mondeo mk 2 pulling to the right under acceleration, but straightens up when i take my foot of the power, one garage said without looking at it, probably the sub frame bushes, another garage thought it could be the lower suspension arm's, are they fairly easy to change, ive never had a car that needed these doing before, guess ive been lucky

or could it be something else causing this pulling to the right

out of interest today i called into kwik fit, yes i know lol, anyway after putting it up on the hoist/ramp they said lower suspension arms, the quote including checking the tracking was £198, so i called into a independent fast fit place, they wanted £158 all in, not wanting to pay that, i thought about doing it myself, so i went to see the unipart guys, they wanted £80 for the pair, and just to see if i could get them any cheaper i went to an independent car accessory shop in town, they wanted £40 for the pair, so a job for next weekend then, lol

ive just had a thought bas, would the fact that the bushes are knackered in the lower arm's give the symptoms of the whole car/dash shaking when i brake at anything over 30 mph, or are they not related

logically yes. as they would normally hold the car true but if shot they will be pulling against each other as the brakes work. I would expect under a perfect lauch for their also to be a steering wheel wobble. normally juddering under breaking is warped discs or shot rack. racks easy enough to check as are discs. Check track rod ends(secure)
