Sound lost on laptop

Sound lost on laptop

Lost the sound. Took it to be looked at and even my husband could not get it back. However, my daughter said to re set it to a date before sound was lost. Husband away, not sure how to do this.

Hello. Click START, go to Help & Support and type System Restore. Just follow the instructions, it's quite simple. Don't go back further than necessary. If you have Vista, System Restore can take a long time to appear, so don't think it's not working. Good luck.
