i have a 2ltr hdi 110. when pulling away and changing up to second there is a delay in acceleration of several seconds then suddenly pulls away.the car revs and ticks over fine and pulls ok at above 25mph. cant see or hear anything unusual, its annoying trying to pull out at junctions.any ideas out there.kev

a few things come to mind.
check for leaks on the turbo pipes.
assume you have checked the air filter.
check fuel filter in case its blocked.
sounds like boost pressure is low at low revs.

cheers rodders

i check all pipes and turbo.discovered it was the air flow meter on the air filter. i have now changed that and seems to be running ok but cant get rid of the anti polution alarm , what else is covered by this, is there any more sensors to look for. regards kev

it stays on after the fault is sorted. you will need a diagnostic to to erase the fault from the engine ecu.
