Citreon Berlingo 2000, replacing heater matrix

I have recently had a problem with the heater matrix in my W reg 200 berlingo, it emptied all the water into the passenger footwell, Ive been told that this is probably the matrix splitting and needs replacing. I've set about disassembling the van to get at the matrix, but i have come unstuck and can't figure out how to get the thing out. Any help or instructions would be very gratefully received.
