what sort of a job is it to fit a tow bar on a X reg fiesta ghia. cheers Dennis

I don't see them as being significantly different - I bought Towsure bars via the internet. Just needed a drill and on one occasion a hacksaw to cutaway a little rectangle of valance.

Thanks for your reply. have looked on ebay for them and they look like a rather large piece of kit.... so wasn't sure how they fitted, am i correct in thinking they fit to the chassis both sides of the fuel tank ?? i've only fitted one the an astra estate and that fastened through the boot floor.. totally different car of course..LOL Cheers Dennis

The latest Fiesta fitted into the two box sections running under the boot. Straight forward enough to fit once the inner wing covers had been removed.. Probably the worst bit was connecting up the wiring - but yours being a little older may be more straight forward. This one has a relay, works well and bleeps when the trailer is attached.
