Is there any where a list with pictures that one can resort to, to identify their pram moddle. It seems to be a real issue with so many people.
Also can any one indicate why it is so hard to find information on the collapsible frame prams of the 70s. I have been told mine is a bearkly but have not seen a picture of one any where.

Hughie, I had a Berkeley for my son in 1977, they do come up on E Bay quite frequently. This week there was a brown one sold on there and one in navy and silver which was listed wrongly as a Portman. If you do a search for Silver Cross coachbuilt pram and look under completed listings you might find it. The prams with detachable bodies are easier to find than the larger models as they were only made from the seventies I think when more people needed a pram they could fit into a car, therefore more have survived than the older models. I may have a catalogue picture somewhere, I will post it on here if I find it.

Lucy, many thanks for the info. I will follow it through. If you find a picture you can email me direct if you like with the picture, it's up to you. I have noticed that a lot of the members offer their email facility by including a sentence to the effect, "log in" and that way they are able to obtain the email address privately. How do you folk do this.

hi hughie have you tried classycanopies ? they have an album with pics of most makes of prams , if you cant find yours there im sure pat will be able to tell you. hope this helps, regards sue.

The Berkeley is in the 1978 brochure and there is a copy of that brochure on ebay right now.

Sue, thanks for replying but I am a little confused. I recently placed an advert for a second hand 14" wheel for a Berkerley. I also placed a message in the forum section of my misfortune with the one wheel being no good. Are you saying that Classycanopies might have wheels.

hughie, so sorry miss read your posting thought you were asking what pram you had , didnt see mesg about the wheel. no classycanopies wouldnt have wheels , ebay may but its hit and miss. but good luck with the search hope you find one. sue.
