Hi,
I'm buying an x-box for my brother. Just wondering what's the difference between an X-box, an x-box 360 and an x-box live? Or are they the same thing? Also, i don't want to spend too much really, so which is the cheaper version, and would it be worth it getting the more expensive 1? Lol sorry if i sound a bit 'thick' on the subject, i'm not a computer person.

X-box is the old unit though still sold as secondhand unit with games included for anywhere between £35-£50.......... X_BOX 360 is the latest replacement for the X-box and is a better unit X_Box live is the 360 but with internet connection to download films and games or play against/with other online players

Various deals around on all games machines so best to look around and look for best deal

hi, my name is lucian, I'm 13 years old

an xbox is the name for the console, but if your brother likes up to date things, you might want to buy him an xbox 360, thats the newest console. Also xbox live is like membership to xbox, with xbox live you can connect to other people around the world who are playing on their xbox right now, you can also talk to them with a microphone.

xbox live member ship costs, I think about £24.99 for a whole year, or something, you may want to check a website for that

I hope this information has been helpful for you
if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
yours sincerely

Lucian

Xbox live is £39.99 for 12 months. You can get 3 months for £14.99 (cheaper if you shop around) If you buy a brand new console you get a months free Xbox live with it.

You can actually get 12 months live subscription for £26, which i did very recently. Plus they email you the code within a few hours. Search around online.
