i have to change my sons engine on his mk3 1800 mondeo.the only engine i can get is a 2 ltr one.i am trying to find out any problems i will have.as will his 1800 box fit.will the ecu recognise the 2ltr engine or will that have to be changed.any one help with the problems i mite have.thanks

this isnt a normal question for here. lol.
your best bet would be to search some fiesta forums of google "Zeetec conversions". Thes people mess about wopping things all the time

yes it will because i've just put a 2ltr engine in a 1.8 mk3 mondy for me bro. because the engines are useless!!!!!!

will every thing fit of the 1800 to the 2 ltr like starter motor. air con pump.and did it run ok with the ecu of the 1800.did you have any problems. thanks for your help eddie
