Hi. Just bought a 2000 1.3 3 door Fiesta and the heater blows hot air no matter where the hot/cold control dial is positioned. Does anyone know where I should start looking for the fault? Thanks

Id start with this very common fault HEATER CONTROL valve

i had this proble with my car and i replaced the valve on the bulkhead that the to water pipes go into and out in to the car interior it cost £10 from a scrap yard if that dont work change the switch in the car that controles the heat,speed,position about £15. good luck
