2000 V plate fiesta noisy rear suspension

Fiesta Zetec 1.25, the rear suspension is always making a knocking noise. It does it when driving on a normal flat not particularly bumpy road ALL the time. It does not get worse when going over bumps/pot holes. It just remains the same volume and sound on any road surface. At first I suspected the top suspension strut mounts and so replaced these, and at first it appeard to solve the problem, however after about 10 miles it came back again (coincidence that it initially solved the problem?). Does anyone have ideas what this might be and what I can do to find out? Cheers Ben

check spare wheel/ tray are correctly secured check exaust is not nocking this happens more in reverse or when wheel spinning. rear anti roll bar bushes should be checked also ___________________ Always learning
