main bearings on mk3 02 1800 mondeo (petrol)

i tried to get big end shells all over the country. i was told it is a throw away bottom half. after all the time trying to find them i got them in a place a couple of miles from were i live.the problem i have when i took the main shell bearings out they were ok.i marked them to go back in the same place. but i have noticed that out of the 10 shells only 4 have holes with a groove down the middl for the oil.and i have 6 plain ones with no holes so i am going to have to put 2 together with no holes but i do not know were to put them they are the same ones i have took out .i only got bigend shells any help me. thanks

Due to the very fine tolerances in the areas of the bearing clearances and the bearing shells, no repairs whatsoever are permitted on the crankshaft drive.
