water pressure pump swift lifestyle 1998

Can anyone help, each time i need to use the taps i have to turn on the pump switch then when finished turn it off if i dont do this the red indicater light under the switch keeps flickering end you can hear the pump coming on and off. I thought it was the sensitivity control on the back of the pressure switch which ive adjusted several times to no avail,so i replaced pressure switch and have the same problem,hope you can understand the way ive explained this any advice please,thanx denise.
