Im having problems with the car, it seems that its running on 3 cylinders, leads and plugs have been tested ok and coilpack is firing sparks when tested, but when leads 2 or 4 are taken out the revs pick up better but then die down when plugged back in. any suggestions as im struggling, cheers

try a bit of clear bathroom silicon rubbed in the inside of the plug leads ,push the leads back on and try that.the silicon is a good insulator and stop the rubber plug leads making tracking lines down the side of the plugs when fitted.

It is not advised to remove plug leads with engine running. It SENDS THE ecu INTO BREAKDOWN MODE. as sated in previouse post silcon spray the leads to. But before you do lift the bonnet ant night and check for tracking/shorts from around the plugs leads and coil pack. tracking as in eletric flowing external like lightning
