Hi all... can any1 help with the following prob?
Ford Maverick 2.7tdi ? (Nissan Terrano) 1997
It's had a new slave cyl,a refurbished master cyl,and now a new 3 part clutch.
HOWEVER... 100 miles into the new clutch and it's started to slip again,the cluth pedal has no free play,gears crunch down the box and if i put it in 4wd...
it judders when i de-accelerate... HELP!!!!!!!!!

You will have to take it back. I have had 7 clutches in 18,000 miles on my Terrano and I have never had a clutch go on any other car in 25 years of driving. Luckily mine were all under warranty. One of the clutches went before I got the car back. The Nissan dealer fitted the new No.6 clutch, tested the car, the clutch went BANG, fitted no.7 clutch. All the clutches were sent to Nissan to find out why they failed (one mechanic said the springs had twisted). I never got any feed back from them though. No 7 clutch is still in at 40,000 miles.
