hi my name is pete and i am havin a problem with my ford focus when i go to pull of fast or go round a corner or even coming off an island when i press the accelorater there realy isent much power and feels like it will give more but cant i have had it on a computer and it said the crank sensor was faulty so i had it replaced and the code reseting but the car still had the problem. i have also have had the sparkplugs changed and all the filters and oil. it is a ford focus 1.4 cl t reg 1999 if anyone can help then please help thanx

To be honest this is the worst focus to own. The 1.4 was servelly underpowered of the weight it has the move and the 1.6 prooves this by returning much better mpg and performance. If this is a newly devloped fault then keep looking and asking if its been like this since you got it it is the car and ford fault for putting the weedy engine in it.
ps how many miles has it done.
