hi i have a buulmastiff female 10 years old she was a big girl in her day but has lost some bulk due to age she is the best dog i have ever owned absolute diamond in every way ,ive said to my partner if we ever split he can take the kids but not her lol

Omg Claire, 4 weeks old already?! Where does all the time go. You'll have to flood us with lot's of pics of them all. You decided if a little one may have planted itself enough in your heart to stay ;) lol.

I used to have an american bulldog.. He had to be rehomed, as the person i had him off failed to tell me that he had been trained to fight! trained on cats, that is! so he had to go, but what a lovely people dog, my kids used to roll round the floor with him. He grabbed my deaf, disabled cat and ragged him round the garden, hes now living a great life with a guy i know who takes on aggressive dangerous dogs! Sysqo was his name

yeah tanya im keeping the girl with the white face, the difficult decission is trying to only stick to one.
punky tina i have got the same problem with the dad of these pups. although the mum is now great with my cats and will walk right next to them i am still having problems with scooby and have come to the heartbraking decission that im going to have to rehome him.
i took him out for a lovely run for an hour and a half last week, just the two of us. trouble was it was quite dark by the time i got back and although i was using my phone as a light i didnt see my cat near us and he almost got hold of it! i can get him to walk past the sheep now without him going awol but the cats are just too much tempation for him. its something i have agonised over for months but as the mum of the pups is in my bedroom with me he is stuck in the utility room on his own. i could never kennel him in the barn with the others as he would def escape and get hold of a cat after which he would probably get out and go for the sheep. keep chopping and changing my mind but he could be really happy in a no cat home.

Lol knew you wouldn't be able to resist. It's hard choosing which 1 is going to stay, and harder not to choose more than 1 lol.

It was dodgy how i came to get Sysqo anyway, alarm bells never started ringing. I met a lady and her boyfriend in a service station just off the M5, it all seemed well dodgy in hind sight. But at least i know Sysqo is fine and wont be pts. I can go see him as much as i like and have emails off the guy, he owns a load of land and has a huge kennel compound... Bit like dog borstal, is what his place reminds me of.. He tries to rehabilitate the dogs and if they cant he still keeps them just gives them a lot of time on a 1 to 1 basis.

he sounds great punkytina, well done for saving that handsome beast. when i first got scooby he was so out of control i worried about rehoming him as i thought he may get pts. he has calmed down tremendously but the cats are just too much temptation for him.best of luck to you all on this thread, i have been getting alot of stick on another thread for breeding just because two of my pups ended up for sale and i asked for some help to get them back. i have decided to leave this forum as im sick of a select few. shame as there are so many other lovelies on her but there you go. take care and hope all goes well for you in the future with your dogs.x

Claire that's a shame that you feel you have to leave. I feel there are way too many arguements on here that don't need to be. People just get a bit overexcited about some subjects and like to express their opinions, and things do end up getting a bit heated. I try and stay out of it when that happens lol. Don't like arguing.

dont leave this forum i love hearing about your dogs and seeing them they are gorgeous,everyone has diffrent opinions alot of what you have wrote on threads i agree with but i dont bother getting involved.It would be a shame if you left.

wow edwards, so glad i didnt leave the forum after all. ive said on another post that ive decided to keep scooby again! i keep putting him up for rehoming, then we go out on a walk and i fall in love with him all over again. he is one of the bulliest bulldogs ive ever seen in the abs. i would adore some pics of the grandparents thanks very much. am too excited for words. they have got some seriously good names in thier peds, was chuffed when i got thier papers through. scooby is incredibly strong for a little one. have considered putting him in weight pull. but have no transport. think it would do him good. here are some pics of the pups, i am keeping the champagne girl. shes full of character.
