battery light goes out and stays out after start,i've no mutli-meter so can only assume it's charging but even when running , idon't have enough power for the indicators to flash. it will run down when driving to the point were ther's not enough power to keep engine running. any ideas?
Have been informed it's probably a bad earth lead and how to check it but i need the multimeter anyway.thanx
after a lot of struggling, got new terminal on an was getting just over 14v at battery when running. happy days thought i. went back an hour later and alternator has given up!!!
have you checked volts direct from alternator ? ___________________ Always learning
only showing the same volts on output side of alternator as i am on the battery.12.7v on a full charged battery.
