radio code input problem

help! i have radio code !!!!! but cannot input the third number . if this solveable or is it a ford replacement thing? if so how much will it be roughly? will any removeable front on the 5000 models do the job or are they a special one for the radio. many thanks
a panel from the same model will fit ok
thanks for the reply. no buttons missing and i have removed the panel and cleaned contacts and still no joy. i have bought a second hand panel and hope that cures it!
